It is already a great start to 2019 with fabric art placements already in January, February March and April. This marks my March exhibition participation and I’m grateful to Dr. Carolyn L. Mazloomi for choosing my piece, “To Whom Much is Given, Much is Required”.
Exhibition opening March 16, 2019 at the National Afro-American Museum in Wilberforce, OH. Book available on Amazon and in book stores early March.
You can see my fabric art piece, “Cruelty Comes For Us All” in this touring exhibition. Click the link for more info. http://texasfolklife.org/event/quilting-the-worlds-conscience-gallery-exhibit-opening Feb. 21st
Quilting the World’s Conscience will feature quilts on display. Quilting the World’s Conscience is a call for action orchestrated by Carolyn Mazloomi and the Women of Color Quilters Network & Friends. Through the art of quilting, artists interpret the thirty articles of the Declaration of Human Rights with a variety of styles and techniques.
I will have two new pieces in this show. Sixth Annual Juried Lenora Rolla Heritage Museum Art Show sponsored by the Tarrant County Black Historical and Genealogical Society February 1-28, 2019.
Please take a moment and tell me how you discovered my site. I have a lot of non-USA visitors and would like to know more about you.
