One of the greatest things about being a Fabric Artist is the first response to the work. I’ve been asked to hang an BHM exhibition at the headquarters of Texas Baptists in Dallas. Rev. Oza Jones and Dr. David Hardage have been extremely welcoming. I installed today and was encouraged by Rev. Oza’s response and that of his Assistant, Ms. Leonida. “Nobody was expecting quilts! They thought it was paintings.” BAM!!!
