Good afternoon Mr. Mardis. I am the program person for the McKinney Quilt Guild located in McKinney Texas. You have been recommended to me as a potential speaker in 2025. We meet on the third Tuesday of the month from 1-3. Is this something you might be interested in? If so, please let me know what month works best for you and what you lecture fee is. We do not meet in July, May is a non speaker month as is December. Other than those exclusions the calendar is open at this time.

Thanks for reaching out about a potential speaking opportunity in 2025. Can you give me an idea of the Guild attendance and what are your expectations of a Speaker?
My preference is to stage a small exhibition of 6-10 fabric artworks and then give a walkthrough tour. The walkthrough is for discussing 1. Pieces 2. Construction 3. Materials 4. Motivation 5. Methods and Techniques.
If your group is too large for a walkthrough then I’m amenable to a stage discussion or moderated talk with Q&A and video/slideshow.
Let me know if this is in the range of your needs for a Speaker and we’ll go from there.
I’m also currently available for 2024 due to some scheduling changes.
